The Joint Agency Coordination Center (JACC) for search for the missing Malaysia Airlines flight MH370 confirmed that an Australian Orion aircraft Thursday has picked up a possible fifth signal in the search zone where previous signals consistent with the plane's black box were detected.

The JACC also said that 15 aircraft (12 military and 3 civil) and 13 ships will assist in Friday's search as weather conditions are reportedly reasonable for searching.

The Australian Maritime Safety Authority Friday has planned two search areas in close proximity totaling about 46,713 square kilometers, which actually smaller than 57,932 square kilometers of Thursday's search area. And the center of the search areas lies approximately 2,312 kilometers north west of Perth.

In addition, the JACC confirmed Friday that there were no sightings reported by search aircraft or objects recovered by ships on Thursday.
