Chinese vice premier calls for more education cooperation among BRICS countries

Chinese Vice Premier Liu Yandong Wednesday called for BRICS countries to deepen pragmatic cooperation in education.

Liu made the remarks when meeting with heads of foreign delegations attending a meeting of BRICS ministers of education.

As an important part of people-to-people exchanges, education cooperation has achieved fruitful results in joint scientific research by colleges and universities, as well as personnel training in recent years, Liu said.

People-to-people exchanges are also very important to strengthen the partnership between BRICS countries, he said. Enditem
