South Korea and the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK) agreed Monday to hold a third summit between South Korean President Moon Jae-in and top DPRK leader Kim Jong Un in Pyongyang in September.

The agreement was reached after the high-level talks between the two sides at the border village of Panmunjom.

The joint press release, adopted after the talks, said the two sides agreed to hold the inter-Korean summit meeting in Pyongyang within September, failing to agree on detailed schedule.
