A coach overturned near Morocco's southwestern city of Agadir on Tuesday morning, killing three and injuring 44 others, the provincial government of Agadir-Ida-Outanane said.
Four people were seriously injured in the traffic accident in the town of Imsouane, it added.
The injured had been transported to the hospital for medical care.
A total of 3,435 were killed in road accidents in Morocco between November 2017 and October 2018, down 3.16 percent year on year, according to the latest statistics by the Moroccan Ministry of Transport.
In 2016, the Moroccan government adopted a national road safety strategy aiming at reducing the fatalities in road accidents by 25 percent in 2021 and 50 percent by 2026.
