U.S. House Speaker Nancy Pelosi said Thursday the Democrat-controlled House of Representatives will "reluctantly" pass the Senate version of emergency border funding bill amid pressure from moderate Democrats to tackle the continuous migrant surge along the U.S.-Mexico border.

"The children come first," Pelosi said in a statement. "At the end of the day, we have to make sure that the resources needed to protect the children are available."
