Pakistan confers civil awards on 4 Chinese nationals

A special Investiture Ceremony was held at the Embassy of Pakistan in Beijing on 6th December, 2019. Civil awards were conferred on four Chinese nationals, on behalf of the President of Pakistan, in recognition of their services towards Pakistan and the further strengthening of Pakistan-China relations.

Xu Shaoshi, former director of the National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC); Wang Xiaotao, head of the International Development Cooperation Agency (IDCA) of China; Lin Yi,vice president of Chinese People's Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries (CPAFFC); and Li Xuedong, former director general of the International Cooperation Department of the National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC) of China, were awarded the Hilal-e-Pakistan, Hilal-i-Quaid-e-Azam, Sitara-i-Pakistan and Tamgha-i-Pakistan respectively.

The event was attended by officials from the Pakistan Embassy and the Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs along with media representatives.
