The Ukrainian delegation completed the second round of negotiations with the Iranian side over the crashed plane of Ukraine International Airlines in Tehran, Ukrainian Deputy Foreign Minister Yevhen Yenin said on Facebook on Tuesday.

According to Yenin, during the negotiations that took place in Tehran on Oct. 19 and 20, Iran assured the Ukrainian side of the political will to establish truth and justice.

Yenin noted that Ukraine expects the development of criminal prosecution of those responsible for the tragedy. Yenin informed that the next round of negotiations could take place in late November or early December.

The Ukrainian passenger plane was hit by Iranian missiles after taking off in Tehran on Jan. 8, killing all 176 on board. Iran said its forces "accidentally" shot the plane down.

On July 24, an international team in Paris completed preliminary investigative analysis of the data extracted from the black boxes of the plane.

The first round of negotiations ended on July 31 in Ukraine, where technical and legal aspects of the incident were examined, and details of the October round of talks in Tehran were agreed upon.
