More than 160 people attended the meeting, including consular officials from seven countries including Malaysia, the Philippines and Kazakhstan. Also in attendance were representatives from 48 associations at home and abroad like the United States CASIC, Swiss Chinese Chamber of Commerce, Colombia Chinese Chamber of Commerce and Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency, as well as representatives from multinational corporations and the world's top 500 enterprises.

The 15th Western China International Fair, which has adopted "Reform leads Development and Innovation leads the Future" as its theme, will be held in two phases.
