Deals worth 52.65 million yuan were made at the recent Seventh China (Deyang) International Small and Medium Enterprises Fair.

The fair covered an area of 12,400 square meters, with four indoor exhibition halls and one outdoor exhibition area. Some 318 companies from 13 countries and regions participated in the fair.

The fair, which lasted for four days, attracted 52,000 people. A total of 154 contracts worth 100.01 million yuan were signed. The fair has become a major platform for enterprises at home and abroad to promote themselves.

Companies from the UK, Italy, Hungary, Malaysia, Thailand, South Korea, Sri Lanka, India, Nepal, Yemen, Vietnam, Sudan and Afghanistan displayed their commodities.

The fair is the first international comprehensive exhibition that has been held in Deyang City, in southwestern China’s Sichuan Province.

Statistics show that since 2011, more than 70 exhibitions have been held in Deyang, which have generated a direct income of about 18 million yuan.
