"My Dream" impresses Hollywood

My Dream, a documentary about the inspiring story of a group of Chinese disabled dancers, has received an enthusiastic response from viewers in Hollywood on Saturday night.

The film, which features dances like Thousand-Handed Guanyin and Butterfly Lovers by disabled dancers from the China Disabled People's Performing Art Troupe received eight rounds of applause during its 90-minute screening Chinanews.com reported.

Members of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences spoke highly of the documentary when communicating with Tai Lihua, leader of the troupe.

To thank the audience, Tai and her dancers performed the dance Thousand-Handed Guanyin to bring down the curtain.
