As we know, this year marks the 105th anniversary of the CPC's founding. The national conference on Party building held shortly before July 1 made arrangements for studying and implementing Xi Jinping Thought on Party Building, giving rise to a nationwide wave of study and implementation. How does the resolution adopted at the fifth plenary session implement and embody Xi Jinping Thought on Party Building? Thank you.

That is a very good question. As the Party endeavors to supervise, govern, develop and strengthen itself in the new era, the Central Committee with Comrade Xi Jinping at its core has put forward a series of new ideas, new thinking and new strategies in response to the major questions of the time: What kind of Marxist party capable of long-term governance should we build, and how should we build it? These ideas have given rise to Xi Jinping Thought on Party Building. This thought has enriched and developed Marxist theory on party building, and represents a major achievement in advancing the Party's theoretical innovation through applying the basic tenets of Marxism to China's realities and drawing on its fine traditional culture (the "two integrations"). It encapsulates the practical experience and collective wisdom of the Party and the Chinese people. As an important component of Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, it provides fundamental guidance and a road map for further advancing the great new project of Party building in the new era.

The drafting of the resolution adopted at this plenary session was guided by Xi Jinping Thought on Party Building, with its scientific substance, underlying principles and practical requirements incorporated throughout the resolution, from its analysis of the current situation and formulation of the guiding thought and principles to its plans for strategic tasks and major initiatives. Studying and implementing the guiding principles of the plenary session should be coordinated and integrated with the in-depth study and implementation of Xi Jinping Thought on Party Building.
