Cross-Straits Experts Discuss a Harmonious Society

Some 100 specialists from both sides of the Taiwan Straits on Saturday gathered together in Suzhou, a scenic city in east China's Jiangsu Province, to exchange views on the construction of a harmonious society.

 

The specialists, mainly professors from universities or research fellows from professional research organizations, discussed the governance and its relation to the construction of a harmonious society.

 

Among the specialists were Chen Qingyun, head of the Institute of Public Policy with the elite Peking University; Gao Hui, head of the Chinese Mainland Institute of Taiwan Culture University; and Lu Yucheng, professor with the department of Public Administration and Policy of Taipei University.
