About the animation:

"Ma Liang and his Magic Brush" is a children's story created by Chinese writer Hong Xuntao, which has been adapted into several animated movies. A famous one is the "Magic Brush," released in 1955, which has been etched onto the collective memories of those Chinese born in the 1970s and 80s. A three-dimensional eponymous animated movie will air this summer, with the technological support of Disney China, and dubbed by the crew of the movie "Kong Fu Panda".
