About the animation:

"Prince Nezha's Triumph Against the Dragon King," shot in 1979 to mark the 30th anniversary of the foundation of the People's Republic of China, is the first color wide-screen animated feature in all of China. It was screened at the 1980 Cannes Film Festival and won considerable acclaim both at home and abroad.
