Kangxi was quite a long-lived emperor, therefore the imperial kiln wares expressing wishes for longevity were frequently manufactured in the late Kangxi period. This big vase above, with 100 Chinese characters of "寿" on it, which means "a long life", sold for 682,000 RMB at the 4th China Guardian Quarterly Auctions in 2005.
