In addition to traditional Chinese culture, Chinese cuisine has also proved irresistible to a number of Hollywood stars.

Scarlett Johansson has a Chinese nickname "Tangbao" or soup dumpling, as she once told Chinese media that she had burned her tongue when she ate soup dumplings in China for the first time in 2011. She said she tried and loved hotpot when she was in Beijing promoting her movie "Captain America: The Winter Soldier" in 2014.
