There are still some other actors and actresses who were apparently baffled by what they encountered in China.

Robert Downey Jr. was given a larger-than-usual tanghulu, a traditional Chinese snack of candied fruit, when he was promoting his movie "Iron Man 3" in Beijing in 2013. He was apparently bemused by the tangy snack. [Photo/CRI]

Johnny Depp was given an abacus, which the Chinese organizers said was a "super computer" in ancient China, when he was promoting the movie "Transcendence" featuring a sentient computer in 2014. Depp said he could use the abacus as a guitar. [Photo/China.com.cn]

Leonardo DiCaprio was given an Oscar-like statuette present made of numerous golden roses when he was promoting his academy-winning movie "The Revenant" in Beijing earlier this year. His Chinese fans said the present might have caused him trypophobia. [File photo]
