The Wynn Macao, along with the Macao tourism office, are sponsoring the show, which will debut online via the Tencent Video streaming platform on June 1.

"It's a documentary about Macao's culinary history and tradition as well as their cooking skills," explains Chen.

"The culinary style of Macao is fusing with those from other places, but still keeps its original flavor at the same time," he says. "You can find food from all over the world and see the cultural and culinary change."

Impressed by Liu's extremely high standards when it comes to selecting his ingredients, Chen observes: "Even though he has moved to Macao, he still maintains the spirit and quality of Tan family cuisine, giving it a strong foothold in Macao."

Liu has been instrumental in the Golden Flower winning and maintaining its two Michelin stars for six consecutive years, as well as retaining the restaurant's status as a Forbes Travel Guide five-star-rated eatery for the past five years.
