The ceremony also launched a special book series, the Fu Lian Cheng Anthology of Peking Opera Scripts, which has published the treasured Fu Lian Cheng Peking Opera scripts from past decades. The series was published by the National Library of China Publishing House.

Peking Opera master Ye Jinsen, the grandson of the first Fu Lian Cheng president Ye Chunshan, said at the ceremony that the publication of the scripts not only fulfilled his father Ye Longzhang's final wish, but also will provide great creative resources for performers, artists and scholars, and serve as a link between past and future for the development of Chinese Peking Opera.

The Research Institute of the Fu Lian Cheng Troupe is part of the grand Fu Lian Cheng research program helmed by the Art Research School of the Beijing Foreign Studies University. The program will also present film and stage play projects based on the opera school in the future.
