Perfect World, China's leading game company, introduced two of its upcoming video games at the just-concluded Electronic Entertainment Expo, known as the E3, held in Los Angeles, U.S. from June 12 to 14.

One of the games is a mobile MMORPG (massively multiplayer online role-playing game) called "ReEvolve," which according to the game's description is a post-apocalyptic "sandbox" with "exploration, creation and evolution as its themes, in a rich game world with a vast amount of interactive resources."

The second is a battle royale game called "FarSide," in which barehanded players are placed into the FarSide Arena and must find a variety of weapons and survival equipment to battle against other gamers. Meanwhile, the number of players in the arena gradually shrinks with the spread of poisonous gas.

The two games have drawn the attention of a number of E3 gaming fans.

Earlier this month, world gaming giant Valve announced that it will partner up with Perfect World to bring Steam, a digital distribution platform, to China, betting on the country's huge market.

The E3 event, world's largest video game industry convention, has been held for 24 years since 1995. During the expo every year, hardware manufacturers, software developers, and publishers from the video game industry present new and upcoming products to attendees, primarily retailers and members of the video game press. This year it drew over 69,000 attendees, the largest since 2005.
