Chengde in Hebei province has been for centuries the home of people from the Manchu ethnic group. And it boasts rich folk arts and crafts, such as paper cutting, cloth collage paintings, shaman dancing, beverage brewing and woodwork.

Now, handicrafts and ethnic performances by people from Fengning, Kuancheng and Weichang counties, which form part of Chengde, are being shown at Beijing's Prince Kung's Mansion through Dec 20.

This event will be the last show in a campaign to introduce dynamic cultural legacies initiated by Prince Kung's Mansion.
