"Peace Angel," a children's choir of the China Soong Ching Ling Foundation (CSCLF), was invited to Vienna to participate in the 10th World Peace Choral Festival from July 25-28.

Together with choirs from all over the world, "Peace Angel" performed "Coming together to sing," theme song of this year's festival, at the opening ceremony in the Wiener Konzerthaus. Members of the choir exchanged gifts with their foreign counterparts during a charity sales event later that day.

In front of the United Nations Office at Vienna, the choir performed the song "I am a small part of the world" as a way to express their sincere hope for a peaceful and stable world.

With the theme of "Coming together to sing, singing for a better future," the 2019 World Peace Choral Festival featured some 1,300 participants in over 40 choirs from 10 countries. The event offers a stage for young participants from around the world to promote cross-cultural communications and world peace through music.
