The 2019 HOTEC Trade Show, Fiji’s biggest hospitality event, kicked off on Thursday and attracted the best of the tourism industry looking to learn more about new products and supplies in the growing tourism market in Fiji.
The two-day trade show, which was held in Nadi, Fiji's third largest city, boasts 34 companies and 52 booths showcasing some of the newest lines of hotel and resort equipment.
Fiji's Minister for Tourism Premila Kumar said the trade show enhanced business relationships and found new innovative ways to increase investments to sustain growth in the industry.
She said industry partners should take advantage of the great opportunities provided by the two-day event.
The Fiji Hotel and Tourism Association (FHTA), which organized the event, said it will bring much more than just the tradeshow including more learning opportunities through seminars and workshops as well as competitions.
