An exhibition of 20th-century classic Russian paintings has opened at Taiyuan Art Museum in north China's Shanxi Province.

As a parallel venue to the 4th Shanxi Cultural Industries Fair that opened Thursday, the Taiyuan Art Museum showcases 103 Russian oil paintings presenting landscape, still life and figures, etc.

"I'm a big fan of Russian paintings, and I'm excited about this exhibition. The perspective relations and the color schemes of these paintings impressed me," said a visitor surnamed Jia.

The exhibition will last until Sunday.

The cultural industries fair has attracted more than 1,000 companies from 15 countries and regions and displays over 10,000 kinds of products. It will last six days.
