An art exhibition themed Love & Live kicked off on Friday at the China World Trade Center in Beijing.

The exhibition has an environmental protection theme, as all artworks were made using recycled materials.

There are three sections in the exhibition which aim at letting people realize the relationship between human and the nature, rekindling childhood memories and demonstrating handcrafted artworks to remind people to cherish the environment.

A living area created by a team of college students from Wuhan, capital of Hubei province, is one highlight of the show. The students built a chair and a tea table out of used beverage bottles, several pieces of waste planks and a waste electric fan.

Many activities will be held during the exhibition including salons, handcraft classes and charity sales.

The exhibition will be held till Jan 3.
