Oscar-winning director's new doc 'A Long Cherished Dream' premieres

The world premiere of Malcolm Clarke's new documentary "A Long Cherished Dream" was held in Beijing on July 13, 2021.

In the film, Clarke, a two-time Oscar-winning director from the United Kingdom, tells the stories of individual awakenings, throwing light on journeys taken by the Chinese people towards a better future.

The world has been amazed by the rapid development of China over the last three decades. The protagonists of this film are the witnesses and creators of China's transformation. They are confident, determined, and kind-hearted. 

Their wisdom, perseverance, and struggles not only allowed them to change their destinies but also add vigor and vitality to China's development.

The documentary film is set for a July 15 release on CCTV, Fujian Straits Satellite TV, SETV, Tencent Video, Discovery, and British Sky Broadcasting platforms.
