Brazilian kung fu lover dedicated to spreading Chinese culture

Gabriel de Moras, aged 40, is a Brazilian from Rio de Janeiro. He is now working as a martial arts instructor in Nanning, Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region. Inspired by the internationally acclaimed kung fu star Bruce Lee, he has developed a genuine interest in martial arts and Chinese culture. He even has a Chinese name, "Mo Xiaolong".

Mo came to China in 2008 as an exchange student studying at Beijing University of Chinese Medicine. He returned to Brazil after graduation and opened a martial arts club in his hometown, also teaching acupuncture to local people. In 2016, Mo and his wife came to Nanning, the hometown of his wife. Not only has he been refining his kung fu skills with new martial arts teachers, he also teaches TCM to Brazilian people through online courses. What Mo hopes is for more Brazilians to understand Chinese culture.
