"We Ride Together", the first snowboarding culture and contemporary art exhibition in China, is being held in Beijing and presents the life story of American snowboarder Jake Burton Carpenter (1954-2019) – founder of Burton Snowboards and one of the inventors of the modern-day snowboard.

Since the beginning of Burton Snowboards in 1977, snowboarding has undergone tremendous changes. It has evolved from a niche winter activity into a beloved winter sport and a world-class event.

"Snowboarding isn't just an activity, it's a state of mind," Burton once said. Through this exhibition, visitors can review the founder's legendary life experience and appreciate the charm of snowboarding via illustrations, photos and art installations.
