Having lived in China for more than a decade, British musician Adam Varjavandi is realizing his dreams step by step while blending in with local life.

"Music is part of my life," said Varjavandi. "It's my dream and also my career."

The moment he began learning the guitar when he was five, Varjavandi fell in love with music. A later experience of being a volunteer in China lit up his dream to start his "exploration in China" and to chase his music dreams here.

"I chose to stay in Xi'an because I think I have a lot in common with this city," said Varjavandi, noting that he likes Xi'an in many ways including its culture, weather, and lifestyle.

"For all these years in China, I have learned a lot about Chinese culture, Chinese music, and Chinese musicians," added Varjavandi. "I've found more ways to express music."

Varjavandi has not only made achievements in his music career by starting a studio and performing with Chinese musicians, but also married a Chinese woman and had a lovely son.

"My life and career are both in China, so I will continue chasing my dreams," said Varjavandi.
