The exhibition area comprised approximately 60,000 square meters, setting up 247 booths and attracting over 1,062 exhibitors from home and abroad. Nearly 100,000 visitors attended the expo.

Notable exhibitors included renowned 16 domestic museums including the Palace Museum, and several of China's leading cultural and tourism companies like China Youth Tourism Service, Ctrip, and Meituan.

A series of forums focusing on developing the culture and tourism sector also took place at the expo.

Hosted jointly by the Publicity Department of the Communist Party of China Central Committee, the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, and the Hubei provincial government, the expo will take place in Wuhan every other year.
