Editor's note: A stage play by a Nobel Prize winner, an exhibition on women's progress, and an award show for environmental photography – these are the events you won't want to miss this week.

1, Stage play: New version of 'The Lover'

"The Lover," by Nobel Prize winner British playwright Harold Pinter, premiered at Beijing People's Art Theatre in 2004. After 17 years, a new adaptation returns to the stage and promises to bring audiences a recent evaluation about marriage and life.

Dates: Nov. 27 - Dec. 2

Venue: Beijing People's Art Theatre, Beijing

2, Exhibition: 'Fashion and Changes — Items reflecting Chinese women's life through a century'

Based on social changes in China over the past century, this exhibition will showcase more than 300 items, including paintings and calligraphies, costumes, embroideries, writing materials, badges, and old photos, reflecting the rise of the social status of Chinese women.

Dates: Nov. 27- Feb. 27

3, Exhibition: 'Hope' - The global award in photography and sustainability

Jointly held by Beijing-based Today Art Museum and Prix Pictet, exhibition "Hope" - The global award in photography and sustainability will showcase the pictures of 12 photographers from eight countries worldwide, showcasing their masterpieces on the environment and sustainable development.
