The 56th Montreux Jazz Festival closed on Saturday in Switzerland, with the size of its audience hitting a record high.
The 16-day event held 550 concerts and music-related activities. About 3,000 musicians from all over the world performed on stage.
The attendance of more than 250,000 spectators set a record in the festival's history, according to the festival organizer.
Held annually since 1967, Montreux Jazz Festival has developed into a world-renowned music event, with its performance styles ranging from jazz to soul music, blues, pop, rock and other genres.
