"Yesterday Once More," a new romantic film directed by Gavin Lin and starring Chen Feiyu and Zhou Ye, is set to be released during the five-day May Day holiday.

The movie tells the story of Gu Yuxuan (Chen) and his childhood friend Han Shuyan (Zhou), whose friendship eventually blossoms into love. However, tragedy strikes when Han dies in a car accident. Grief-stricken, Gu wishes to travel back in time to the last day they met.

During the premiere of "Yesterday Once More" held in Beijing on Thursday, the director expressed how deeply moved he was by the actors' performances, as they not only perfectly portrayed their characters' emotions but also pushed themselves to break through their limits in acting.

"Yesterday Once More" is set to be released on May Day and will be the only romantic film among the holiday releases.
