Five blockbuster films will be released in Imax format for the audience to enjoy during China's 5-day May Day national holiday.

The lineup of films for the holiday features four highly anticipated titles: "Born to Fly," "Flashover," "Godspeed," and "Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3." Movie fans have recommended "Born to Fly" and "Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3" as the best options for Imax viewing due to their impressive visuals and charm.
"Born to Fly," a movie depicting China's military test pilots, has already amassed over 100 million yuan in pre-sales across all formats at the box office, making it a must-see for audiences. Meanwhile, "Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3," the long-awaited new installment of the Marvel Cinematic Universe and the finale of the "Guardians of the Galaxy" trilogy, is also generating significant anticipation among fans.
In addition, "The First Slam Dunk," a popular Japanese animated feature that debuted on April 20, has triggered nostalgia among audiences and grossed more than 450 million yuan by Friday. It is expected to continue its successful run through the holiday weekend.
"Born to Fly," "Flashover," and "Godspeed" were already released in theaters on April 28. "Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3" is set to hit screens on May 5.
