Directed by Liu Yulin and starring Liu Haocun and Song Weilong, the film tells the wholesome love story of high school students Xu Niannian (Liu) and Yang Yi (Song) as they meet and form an unforgettable relationship. The film is filled with nostalgic details and looks set to resonate strongly with young moviegoers.

"Just For Meeting You" is adapted from a short story by Zhang Haochen. The process of turning it into a film took eight years, with numerous revisions before it was finally presented on the screen. It is worth mentioning that unlike the unresolved ending in the original story, the film offers a beautiful ending, which has satisfied many fans of the original.

At the movie's premiere on Aug. 18, writer and executive producer Zhang Haochen discussed the ideas behind the adaptation, saying: "The original story was written eight or nine years ago, and over time, I've experienced many changes. Life often presents us with unresolved matters. Therefore, I decided to leave the bittersweet ending in the original work, and hope that the film's conclusion can serve as a delightful indulgence for the audience."

Director Liu also expressed her desire to create the film as a blessing for everyone. She said, "My hope is that this movie can inspire courage in people, empowering them to express the words they've kept hidden in their hearts and reunite with the person they've yearned to meet."

The film is currently leading in presales among all movies on the day, including other romance movies such as "The Breaking Ice" and "Waiting for My Cup of Tea."
