"The Temple of Earth and Me" Beijing book fair concluded Monday, having attracted a record 487,000 readers to the literary feast.
As a sideline event of the 2023 Beijing Culture Forum, the book fair covered an area of 15,000 square meters and attracted 208 exhibitors, showcasing more than 400,000 books in eight special sections.
Nearly 100 cultural activities were held during the 11-day event, including exhibitions, lectures, and book signings.
Initiated in the 1990s, the book fair is a highly renowned cultural event for book lovers in Beijing. It had been suspended since 2013 and resumed this year.
