Every May 21, the world commemorates International Tea Day, emphasizing the vital role of tea production and consumption in combating poverty while honoring the rich tapestry of art, culture, and lifestyles intricately woven around the beloved beverage.

At the Chinese Traditional Culture Museum in Beijing, a captivating display of tea utensils used in the ceremonial art of tea drinking has long captivated visitors. The exhibition serves as a gateway to the cultivation and diverse varieties of tea that have flourished in China over centuries. Notably, exquisite tea and wares hailing from Zhejiang province, a prominent tea production hub, take center stage, offering attendees immersive demonstrations of tea preparation that envelop them in the fragrant essence of tea and the ambiance of refined living.

In addition to the ornate tea accessories, handmade artifacts sourced from various regions across the country, designed for weighing, serving, and crafting tea, are also showcased, adding a touch of artisanal flair to the exhibition.

Simultaneously, as part of this year's International Tea Day festivities at the museum, visitors were treated to a vibrant showcase of folk performances and customs from Jinhua, Zhejiang. This cultural extravaganza provided a glimpse into the rich heritage and traditions of the province, further enhancing the celebratory spirit of the occasion and fostering a deeper appreciation for the intricate cultural nuances intertwined with the art of tea.
