Wang Qian, a young performer, is acting out an episode of Lian Jinfeng on January 20, 2013. A contest for amateur performers of Peking Opera was held between January 18 and 20 in Lugouqiao Township of Fengtai District, and attracted over 100 amateur performers. Organized by Lugouqiao Township’s Party committee, the event celebrated the New Year.
