The 9th Session of the China Tibetan Mastiff Expo will be held from April 20 to 21 in Beijing, exhibiting famous Tibetan mastiffs.

Liu Qiangde, deputy secretary of the China Animal Agriculture Association (CAAA), said CAAA will cooperate with American Kennel Club (AKC) in the field of DNA testing. During the expo, it will produce a first batch of national Tibetan mastiffs recognized by the world.

Liu said CAAA will increase the promotion of a DNA detection system, perfect the purebred Tibetan mastiff registration system and set up China's Tibetan mastiff DNA gene pool. In addition, it is expected to realize the international exchange on the Tibetan mastiff's descent certificate.

The expo will be held at Beijing Xiedao Resort. Covering an area of 20,000 square meters, it consists of three halls. It is the largest and most professional Tibetan mastiff exhibition, as well as the world's largest single dog breed exhibition.
