Beijing residents can swipe their cellphones to pay for transport cost starting from July 22. China Mobile Beijing Company (CMBC) released its newly-designed NFC-SIM card last Friday. After installing the new SIM-card in a mobile phone with Near-Field Communication (NFC) functions, the user can wave the phone when boarding buses or subways without having to buy a ticket.
