The 2013 Modern Sky Festival kicked off on November 27 simultaneously in Beijing and Shanghai. The annual outdoor rock music festival, themed "Close," is headlined by six renowned international bands, Tegan&Sara, Efterklang, Free Energy, Club 8, The Gardigans and Cat Power.
