Philippe Muyl, a well-known French director, addresses the opening of the 21st Beijing College Student Film Festival (BCSFF) in Beijing on April 8, 2014. A total of 34 films will compete for the Jury Award of the film festival. The films include "Black Coal, Thin Ice," "No Man Land," "Unbeatable," "Police Story 2013," "So Young," "Beijing Love Story" and the Sino-French co-production "Nightingale" directed by Philippe Muyl. They were selected from more than 200 participating films. The event also awarded Feng Xiaogang, Zhang Yimou, Ning Hao, Huang Jianxin and Xie Fei as the top five Chinese film directors in the last twenty years [Photo from Xinhua]
