A time-lapse photography video on Youtube showing the Beijing Sanyuan Bridge completes refurbishment with 43 hours has become an internet hit recently. More than 1.2 million netizens from the world have witnessed the miracle of Chinese speed.

The refurbishment of Beijing's Sanyuan Bridge, or Sanyuanqiao started at 11 p.m. on Nov. 13, 2015. The whole reconstruction process completed within 43 hours.

According to Zhou Zhengyu, director of Beijing Transportation Commission, the speed of the refurbishment of the bridge at the important transportation node in a big city has set a record in China's history. Over 1,300 tons of new surfacing for the bridge have been successfully transported to the construction site to replace the old surface, which has provided an technical example of the overall replacement of the large-tonnage bridge.

Sanyuan Bridge is a major overpass on the northeastern stretch of the 3rd Ring Road of Beijing. The Airport Expressway, Jingshun Road (China National Highway 101) and the 3rd Ring Road are interlinked by the vital overpass.

The speed of the process has amazed the netizens from the world. "Speed and efficiency of China is too amazing. Friend of mine recently got back from China and he praises The Dragon nation with efficiency in transport. Well done," said Bonga Rozani. "Time is gold and simply China just doesn't waste it," said netizen Sufyan Quasim.

Some netizens also complained about the speed of construction in their own country. Kevin Yew said: "It will take 3 years to construct a bridge like this." While Netizen Jojo Delos Santos responded to him:" You are so lucky, it will take three presidencies to make it in our country."
