Editor's note: Established in August, 2002, the Huilongguan Subway Vehicle Maintenance Center provides services and maintenance of 56 subway trains running on Line 13 in Beijing. It also contains the Guodong Innovation Studio, a center that has assembled various experts in maintenance. Since 2007, the maintenance center staff began maintenance on vehicles which had completed a distance of 300,000 kilometers. All the vehicles have since entered the stage of maintenance necessary after completing 900,000 kilometers. Thanks to their tireless efforts and innovation, subway trains can maintain their operation smoothly.
