Guyangshu Ski Resort and Hualin East Ski Resort are located in Guyangshu Village, Chongli County. They are designed to cover 12.82 square kilometers. They are 24 kilometers away from the downtown of Chongli County. It takes about 22 minutes to drive from the ski slopes to downtown. They are an ideal location to hold international high-end skiing racing events. The altitude of the two fields ranges from 1,600 meters to 2,100 meters; the highest vertical drop is more than 500 meters. The lay of the land between the two resorts varies a lot, while at the same providing an open view. The ski resorts are suitable for events like nordic combined and biathlons. A jumping platform can also be built for ski jumping events based on the natural mountain landscape in the fields.
