PCCW Limited, a leading Hong Kong telecommunication provider, announced on Wednesday the launch of NETVIGATOR Everywhere, a wireless broadband solution that integrates Wi-Fi and mobile networks for the benefit of customers seeking tip-top quality wireless connectivity.

 

This makes PCCW the first in Hong Kong to provide such service, which delivers automatic selection of the best connectivity among the PCCW's Wi-Fi, High-Speed Downlink Packet Access (HSDPA) and 3G capabilities running in parallel under an integrated service plan.

 

Users simply plug an Auto Network Selector device into a notebook to roam between PCCW Wi-Fi hotspots and PCCW mobile's extensive 3G network, which is powered by a 7.2Mbps HSDPA capability - the first to be deployed in Hong Kong.

 

The tailor-made software in the Auto Network Selector intelligently chooses and facilitates the best connectivity, enabling customers to enjoy hassle-free Internet access anytime, anywhere across the territory.
