Phone user base expands

China's phone user base had surpassed 900 million by the end of October, the Ministry of Information Industry said yesterday.

 

The number of cell phone subscribers was 531 million and fixed-line phone users totaled 370 million, helping the nation to be No. 1 in the world, according to MII.
