Adjust font size:

Land Rover is recalling 4,304 vehicles exported to China for sunroof flaws, a quality official said on Friday.

According to the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine (AQSIQ), the recall covered 4,304 Freelander 2 cross-country vehicles, manufactured between November 2006 and January 2008.

Land Rover started to recall the defective vehicles on Friday, AQSIQ said.

If not repaired, the vehicle's sunroof may get jammed, distorted or even fall off when attempting to open on some occasions.

Owners of the recalled vehicles will receive free repairs or replacement of sunroofs to solve the problem.
