China's taste for luxury

Volkswagen's luxury car brand, Audi, is to build its most advanced assembly workshop in China, aiming to meet the country's rising market demand for luxury cars.

The new plant is in its original plant in Changchun, Jilin Province, with a total investment of 1 billion yuan, Audi said. The factory will boost capacity to 200,000 units a year.
