Harbin Power Engineering signs a power plant deal

Harbin Power Engineering Co, a company based in Heilongjiang province, recently signed contracts with India and Pakistan to participate in the construction of three power plants in the two countries.

The value of the two contracts totaled $1.2 billion. Harbin Power Engineering is one of the major equipment suppliers for thermal, hydro and combined cycle power plants as well as for power transmission and public utilities relating to power plants.
